Coarsened Exact Matching (CEM)
Coarsened Exact Matching er en forbehandlingsmetode som oppnår kovariatbalanse ved midlertidig å gruppere kontinuerlige variabler i intervaller, nøyaktig matche behandlede og kontrollenheter innenfor disse intervallene, og deretter forkaste alle uoverensstemmende enheter. Introdusert av Iacus, King og Porro (2011, 2012), begrenser den ubalanse på hver kovariat uavhengig, og gir en matchet utvalgsstørrelse som enhver estimator kan anvendes på uten å stole på en propensitetsskårmodell.
