Bayesiansk grovkornet eksakt matching (Bayesian CEM) kombinerer rammeverket for grovkorning og eksakt matching fra Iacus, King og Porro med Bayesiansk posteriorinferens. Kovariater diskretiseres til grovere intervaller slik at behandlede og kontrollenheter kan matches eksakt innenfor disse intervallene, og Bayesianske priorer legges deretter på parameterne for behandlingseffekt for å produsere fulle posteriorfordelinger over den kausale estimanden snarere enn et enkelt punktestimat.
