Schaalontwikkeling
Schaalontwikkeling is een gestructureerd, meerstappenproces voor het creëren van psychometrisch valide meetinstrumenten die latente psychologische constructen vastleggen. Het omvat constructdefinitie, itemgeneratie, expertbeoordeling, exploratieve en confirmatorische factoranalyse, betrouwbaarheidsschatting en verzameling van validiteitsbewijs — resulterend in een definitieve set items die geschikt is voor kwantitatief onderzoek.
