Ontwikkeling van polytome schalen
Ontwikkeling van polytome schalen is de systematische constructie en validatie van meetinstrumenten waarvan de items drie of meer geordende respons-categorieën hebben — zoals Likert-type, beoordelings- of gedeeltelijke-credit items. Het past polytome item response theory (IRT) modellen of ordinale factoranalyse methoden toe om de kwaliteit van items te evalueren, latente trek-niveaus te schatten en een psychometrisch solide schaal te bouwen.
