Short-Form Scale Development
Kortvormige schaanontwikkeling is het systematische proces van het reduceren van een volledige psychologische schaal tot een kleinere subset van items, met behoud van de constructvaliditeit, betrouwbaarheid en meeteigenschappen van het oorspronkelijke instrument. Het wordt veelvuldig toegepast wanneer de administratieve last geminimaliseerd moet worden zonder in te boeten op psychometrische kwaliteit.
