헬싱키 선언
헬싱키 선언(1964)은 세계의사협회(World Medical Association)가 제정한 인간 대상 의학 연구에 대한 근본적인 국제 윤리 규범이다. 이는 기존의 원칙(뉘른베르크 강령 1947)을 치료 연구까지 포함하도록 확장하고, 의사의 윤리적 의무로서 연구 대상자의 복지를 최우선으로 삼도록 공식화했다. 2013년까지 아홉 차례 개정되었으며, 전 세계 주요 의학 저널, 연구 윤리 위원회, 규제 기관에서 채택하는 표준으로 남아 있다.
