Kiwango cha Uongozi wa Utumishi (SLS), kilichoandaliwa na Liden na wenzake mwaka 2008, kinapima kiwango ambacho viongozi huweka kipaumbele ustawi na maendeleo ya wengine. Kwa kujenga dhana ya Robert Greenleaf ya 1970 ya uongozi wa utumishi, SLS inatekeleza uongozi wa utumishi katika vipimo saba: uponyaji wa kihisia, kuunda thamani kwa jamii, ujuzi wa dhana, kuwawezesha wengine, kuwasaidia wafuasi kukua na kufanikiwa, kuwaweka wafuasi kwanza, na mwenendo wa kimaadili.
