Partiell minste kvadraters strukturell ligningsmodellering
PLS-SEM er en variansbasert tilnærming til strukturell ligningsmodellering, utviklet av Herman Wold (1985), som estimerer latente variabelmodeller ved å maksimere den forklarte variansen i avhengige variabler. I motsetning til kovariansbasert SEM, er PLS-SEM spesielt nyttig for utforskende forskning, små til mellomstore utvalg, komplekse modeller med mange konstrukter og ikke-normalfordelte data.
