ChIP-seq Peak Calling — Chromatine-immunoprecipitatie-sequencing Peak Calling

ChIP-seq peak calling is een computationele pijplijn die genomische regio's identificeert waar een eiwit van belang — een transcriptiefactor of histonmodificatie — verrijkt is, gebaseerd op sequentielezingen van chromatine-immunoprecipitatie-experimenten. Het zet ruwe sequentiegegevens om in een set van betrouwbare bindings- of modificatieplaatsen in het genoom, wat downstream analyse van genregulatie, chromatine-status en epigenetische mechanismen mogelijk maakt.
