CEMによる政策評価
Coarsened Exact Matching（CEM）は、準実験的因果推論手法であり、観察データから共変量を一時的にビンに粗視化し、それらのビン内で単位を厳密に一致させ、その後、一致しない観測値を削除してから政策効果を推定することにより、処置群と対照群のバランスをとる。Iacus、King、Porroによって導入されたCEMは、単調不均衡バウンディング（monotonic imbalance bounding）というマッチング手法群に属し、特に政策評価で人気がある。
