Istraživanje zasnovano na dizajnu — Eksperiment obrazovnog dizajna

Istraživanje zasnovano na dizajnu (DBR) je iterativna, intervencionistička metodologija koja istovremeno dizajnira obrazovne intervencije i gradi teoriju o tome kako i zašto te intervencije funkcionišu u autentičnim, složenim okruženjima. Nastalo u eksperimentima u učionici Ann Brown iz 1992. godine i paralelnom radu Allana Collinsa, DBR tretira okruženje za učenje kao objekat proučavanja i mesto generisanja teorije, ciklično prolazeći kroz dizajn, implementaciju, analizu i redizajn dok se ne postignu i praktično poboljšanje i teorijski uvid.
