Rule Space Methodology
Die Rule Space Methodology (RSM) ist ein diagnostischer Klassifizierungsansatz, der von Tatsuoka (1983) entwickelt wurde und Item-Response-Theorie (IRT) sowie geometrische Methoden verwendet, um Prüflinge basierend auf ihren Antwortmustern in Wissenszustände zu klassifizieren. Im Gegensatz zur klassischen Skalierung identifiziert die RSM, welche spezifischen Fähigkeiten oder Kompetenzen ein Prüfling besitzt oder nicht besitzt, und ermöglicht so gezielte pädagogische Interventionen.
