Explorative Strukturgleichungsmodellierung
Exploratory Structural Equation Modeling (ESEM) ist ein hybrider Ansatz, der explorative Faktorenanalyse (EFA) mit konfirmatorischer Faktorenanalyse (CFA) und Pfadmodellierung kombiniert und von Asparouhov und Muthén (2009) entwickelt wurde. ESEM lockert die restriktiven Null-Laden-Annahmen der traditionellen CFA, indem es allen Indikatoren erlaubt, auf alle Faktoren zu laden, was die Komplexität über Faktoren hinweg aufdecken und die Modellgüte verbessern kann, während die Fähigkeit zur Prüfung substanzieller Strukturtheorien erhalten bleibt.
