Partial Least Squares Strukturgleichungsmodellierung
PLS-SEM ist ein varianzbasierter Ansatz zur Strukturgleichungsmodellierung, der von Herman Wold (1985) entwickelt wurde und latente Variablenmodelle schätzt, indem die Varianz, die in abhängigen Variablen erklärt wird, maximiert wird. Im Gegensatz zu kovarianzbasierten SEM ist PLS-SEM besonders nützlich für explorative Forschung, kleine bis mittlere Stichproben, komplexe Modelle mit vielen Konstrukten und nicht-normale Daten.
