简明精神状态检查（AMT）是由Hodkinson于1972年开发的一个简短的10项认知筛查工具，最初发表在《Age and Ageing》杂志上。它专门设计用于快速评估住院老年患者的认知功能，在急性住院环境中检测谵妄和痴呆。AMT因其简单、简短（2-3分钟）以及在需要快速认知分诊的快节奏临床环境中的实用性而受到重视。
