裂区实验设计

设想您正在进行一项烘焙实验。为每种面包配方和烘烤时间的组合更改烤箱温度既昂贵又耗时,因此您为每次烤箱运行(小区)设置一个温度,并在同一运行(子小区)中测试不同的配方。由于烤箱运行的重复试验共享相同的温度,因此它们并非完全独立;裂区设计通过使用两个独立的误差项来解决此问题——一个用于难以更改的因子,另一个较小的误差项用于易于更改的因子。这使得统计比较公平且诚实地反映了实际的随机化水平。
