다중 사례 기반 디지털 민족지(Multiple case-based digital ethnography)는 두 개 이상의 의도적으로 선정된 디지털 장소 또는 커뮤니티에서 민족지 현장 조사를 수행한 후, 사례 간의 발견 사항을 체계적으로 비교하는 질적 연구 설계입니다. 디지털 민족지의 몰입적이고 해석적인 전통과 다중 사례 연구 논리에 뿌리를 두고 있으며, 온라인 사회생활에서 특정 장소의 관행과 공통적인 패턴을 모두 드러냅니다. 특히 유사한 현상이 디지털 플랫폼, 커뮤니티 또는 문화적 맥락에 따라 어떻게 다르게 실행되는지에 대한 질문에 적합합니다.
