비교 디지털 민족지학(Comparative Digital Ethnography, CDE)은 두 개 이상의 디지털 환경에서 동시에 민족지학적 방법론—지속적인 참여 관찰, 인터뷰, 인공물 분석—을 적용하는 질적 연구 설계이다. 서로 다른 온라인 환경(예: 각기 다른 플랫폼, 커뮤니티, 또는 국가적 맥락)에서의 관행, 의미, 상호작용을 체계적으로 비교함으로써, CDE는 단일 현장 연구로는 놓칠 수 있는 특정 현장 패턴과 교차하는 문화적 논리를 드러낸다.
