소프트 시스템 방법론(Soft Systems Methodology, SSM)
소프트 시스템 방법론(SSM)은 인간 활동과 관련된 복잡하고 정의가 불분명한('소프트한') 문제 상황을 구조화하고 관리하기 위한 해석적, 실행 연구적 접근법입니다. 1970년대에 Lancaster 대학의 Peter Checkland가 개발하여 1981년에 공식적으로 발표한 SSM은, 최적화보다는 구조화된 학습을 통해 비구조화된 문제 상황에서 목적 있는 행동으로 나아가는 반복적인 탐구 주기를 통해 실무자를 안내합니다.
