Rich Picture는 Soft Systems Methodology(소프트 시스템 방법론)의 초기 탐색 단계에서 문제 상황의 복잡성 전체를 표현하는 데 사용되는 자유 형식의 주석 달린 그림입니다. Lancaster University의 Peter Checkland가 개발한 이 그림은 단일 시각 캔버스에 사람, 역할, 관심사, 프로세스, 갈등 및 환경 요인을 담습니다. 주로 시스템 분석가, 조직 컨설턴트, 행동 연구자들이 명확하게 정의되지 않은 복잡한 문제에 어떤 형식적인 구조를 부과하기 전에 여러 이해관계자의 관점을 도출해야 할 때 사용합니다.
