교육 연구에서의 후성유전체 전장 연관 분석
교육 연구에 적용된 후성유전체 전장 연관 분석(Epigenome-Wide Association Study, EWAS)은 게놈 전반에 걸쳐 수십만 개의 CpG 부위에서의 DNA 메틸화 수준을 스캔하여, 메틸화가 교육 성취도, 인지 능력 또는 관련 학습 결과와 통계적으로 연관된 유전좌위를 식별한다. 혈액 또는 침에서 유래한 메틸화 프로파일을 학교 기록 또는 심리 측정 점수와 연결함으로써, EWAS는 생물학적 및 환경적 노출이 평생에 걸쳐 교육 관련 특성을 어떻게 형성할 수 있는지에 대한 분자적 창을 제공한다.
