Diskriminant validitet

Diskriminant validitet er evidens for, at en latent konstruktion empirisk er distinkt fra andre konstruktioner, som den burde afvige fra. Oprindeligt fra Campbell og Fiske's multitrait-multimethod framework (1959) er det en kernekomponent af konstruktvaliditet og et obligatorisk tjek i udvikling af skalaer og strukturel ligningsmodellering.
