การเทียบเท่าคะแนนสอบ (Test equating) คือกลุ่มของวิธีการทางสถิติที่ใช้ในการแปลงคะแนนที่ได้จากแบบทดสอบหนึ่งไปเป็นมาตรวัดคะแนนของแบบทดสอบอื่น เพื่อให้สามารถเปรียบเทียบและรายงานคะแนนจากการสอบที่ต่างกันหรือแบบทดสอบคนละชุดกันบนมาตรวัดร่วมกันได้ งานบุกเบิกที่ทันสมัยคือ Kolen and Brennan (2004/2014); ส่วน Holland and Dorans (2006) ได้ให้ภาพรวมที่ครอบคลุมในบทหนึ่งของสาขาวิชาการวัดผลทางการศึกษา
