Pua la umeme (e-nose) ni kifaa cha uchambuzi wa ala kinachoiga mfumo wa kunusa wa mamalia ili kugundua na kutambua misombo tete ya kikaboni (mishindo) katika bidhaa za chakula. Iliyotengenezwa na Persaud na Dodd mwaka 1982, e-nose hutumia safu za vitambuzi vya kemikali visivyo maalum pamoja na algoriti za utambuzi wa ruwaza ili kuunda sahihi za kielektroniki za harufu za chakula, kuwezesha tathmini ya ubora wa lengo, ya haraka na utabiri wa muda wa maisha.
