Maximal variationssampling — Maximal variations purposiv sampling
Maximal variationssampling är en purposiv kvalitativ urvalsstrategi där forskaren avsiktligt väljer fall som spänner över det bredast möjliga variationsområdet längs dimensioner som är centrala för studien. Målet är inte statistisk representation utan identifiering av gemensamma mönster som löper genom olika fall samt dokumentation av de unika sätt på vilka varje kontext formar fenomenet som undersöks.
