Viktad typisk fallurval
Viktad typisk fallurval kombinerar den ändamålsenliga logiken för urval av typiska fall – att välja fall som representerar den modala, genomsnittliga eller vanligaste profilen av en population – med viktning av sannolikheten efter urval. Resultatet är ett urval som är både substantiellt representativt (fallen återspeglar normen) och statistiskt korrigerat för differentiella urvalssannolikheter eller populationsstruktur. Det används i mixed-methods- och enkätforskning där djupet av typiska exempel är viktigt vid sidan av inferentiell noggrannhet.
