SAXS

Rasejanje X-zraka pod malim uglovima (SAXS) je tehnika rasejanja X-zraka u rastvornoj fazi koja meri ukupan oblik i veličinu makromolekula i nanočestica analizom intenziteta rasejanja pod malim uglovima (0,1–10 stepeni). Razvijena od strane Kratkyja i kolega 1950-ih, SAXS pruža informacije o molekularnom radijusu, agregacionom stanju i ukupnom obliku bez potrebe za kristalizacijom ili fiksiranjem, što je čini idealnom za proučavanje nativnih proteinskih konformacija i dinamike.
