Geary's C — Ruimtelijke Contiguïteitsratio
Geary's C is een globale statistiek voor ruimtelijke autocorrelatie die meet of nabijgelegen oppervlakte-eenheden vergelijkbare attribuutwaarden delen. In tegenstelling tot Moran's I richt het zich op gekwadrateerde verschillen tussen aangrenzende paren in plaats van kruisproducten van afwijkingen van het gemiddelde, waardoor het gevoeliger is voor lokale ongelijkheid en minder beïnvloed wordt door globale trends.
