Global Moran's I — Meten van Algehele Ruimtelijke Autocorrelatie
Global Moran's I is de meest gebruikte samenvatting in één getal van ruimtelijke autocorrelatie over een heel studiegebied. Het vergelijkt de attribuutwaarde op elke locatie met waarden op naburige locaties met behulp van een ruimtelijke gewichtenmatrix, en retourneert een statistiek variërend van −1 (perfecte dispersie) via 0 (ruimtelijke willekeur) tot +1 (perfecte clustering). Een significantietest bepaalt of het waargenomen patroon sterker is dan willekeurige kans.
