Interpretive Content Analysis — Betekenisgerichte Kwalitatieve Analyse van Teksten
Interpretive content analysis is een systematische kwalitatieve benadering voor het analyseren van de latente betekenissen en interpretatieve kaders die ingebed zijn in tekstuele, visuele of documentaire gegevens. In tegenstelling tot frequentiegebaseerde inhoudsanalyse, plaatst het de interpretatieve betrokkenheid van de onderzoeker bij teksten op de voorgrond om te ontdekken hoe betekenis wordt geconstrueerd, betwist of gereproduceerd. Philipp Mayring's kwalitatieve inhoudsanalyse en bredere interpretatieve tradities vormen de methodologische ruggengraat voor deze benadering.
