Multi-group Differential Item Functioning (MG-DIF)
Multi-group differential item functioning onderzoekt of test- of schaalitems equivalent functioneren over drie of meer verschillende groepen — zoals geslacht, etniciteit of land — na het matchen van respondenten op het onderliggende kenmerk dat wordt gemeten. Items die verschillend presteren tussen groepen, bedreigen eerlijke meting en valide scorevergelijkingen.
