Itemanalyse (Klassieke Testtheorie)
Itemanalyse is de fundamentele psychometrische procedure voor het evalueren van de kwaliteit van individuele test- of schaalitems binnen het raamwerk van de Klassieke Testtheorie (KTT), zoals gesystematiseerd door Allen en Yen (1979) en Crocker en Algina (1986). Het levert een itemmoeilijkheidsindex, een itemdiscriminatie-index en een distractoranalyse voor elk item op, waardoor testontwikkelaars items kunnen identificeren die te gemakkelijk, te moeilijk zijn of er niet in slagen respondenten met hoge en lage bekwaamheid te scheiden.
