Jaudas analīze
Jaudas analīze ir plānošanas un novērtēšanas tehnika, kas kvantificē varbūtību noteikt reālu noteikta lieluma efektu izvēlētajā nozīmīguma līmenī. Tā saista četrus lielumus — izlases lielumu, efekta lielumu, nozīmīguma līmeni (alfa) un statistisko jaudu (1 mīnus beta) — lai pētnieki varētu noteikt nepieciešamo izlases lielumu pirms datu vākšanas vai novērtēt pabeigta pētījuma jutīgumu.
