PANIC 검정: 공통 요인 분해를 이용한 패널 단위근 분석
PANIC (Panel Analysis of Non-stationarity in Idiosyncratic and Common Components)은 Bai와 Ng (2004)가 도입한 2세대 패널 단위근 검정이다. 이 검정은 각 패널 시계열을 공통 요인과 고유 성분으로 분해한 후 각 부분에 대해 개별적으로 단위근을 검정하므로, IPS 또는 LLC와 같은 1세대 검정의 결정적인 한계인 횡단면 의존성에 강건하다.
