Pencocokan Skor Propensitas Spasial (Spatial PSM) memperluas kerangka kerja pencocokan skor propensitas klasik ke dalam pengaturan di mana unit-unit tertanam dalam ruang geografis dan penugasan perlakuan atau hasil dapat berkorelasi secara spasial. Dengan memasukkan kovariat spasial dan struktur kedekatan ke dalam model propensitas dan prosedur pencocokan, metode ini menghasilkan estimasi kausal yang memperhitungkan pengganggu geografis dan efek limpahan (spillover effects).
