Interval pouzdanja

Interval pouzdanja (CI) je raspon vrijednosti, izračunat iz uzorka podataka, koji vjerojatno sadrži pravi populacijski parametar. Uveo ga je Jerzy Neyman 1937. godine, pruža intervalnu procjenu umjesto jedne točkaste procjene, uključujući i promatranu vrijednost i nesigurnost oko nje. Standardni 95% interval pouzdanja robustna je, intuitivna alternativa p-vrijednostima za komunikaciju rezultata istraživanja.
