Bayesijanska analiza eQTL — Bayesijanska analiza kvantitativnih svojstava gena ekspresije

Bayesijanska analiza eQTL identificira genetičke varijante (eQTL) koje reguliraju ekspresiju gena kombiniranjem podataka o genotipu i RNA-seq unutar probabilističkog okvira. Za razliku od frekventističkih pristupa koji se oslanjaju na pragove p-vrijednosti, Bayesijanska formulacija proizvodi posteriorne vjerojatnosti povezanosti, omogućujući principijelno precizno mapiranje (fine-mapping) uzročnih varijanti i koherentno kvantificiranje nesigurnosti za tisuće parova gen-SNP istovremeno.
