Inférence bayésienne spatiale
L'inférence bayésienne spatiale applique la modélisation hiérarchique bayésienne à des données indexées par la localisation géographique. En plaçant des priors spatiaux structurés sur les effets aléatoires spécifiques à la localisation, le modèle emprunte des informations aux régions voisines ou aux points proches, produisant des cartes lissées et quantifiées en incertitude de tout résultat variant spatialement — taux de maladies, niveaux de pollution, abondance d'espèces ou risque environnemental.
