Stianalyse
Stianalyse tester et af forskeren specificeret kausalt diagram mellem observerede variabler ved at dekomponere deres interkorrelationer i direkte effekter, indirekte (medierede) effekter og spuriøse associationer. Udviklet af Sewall Wright i 1921 er det specialtilfældet for strukturel ligningsmodellering med observerede variabler og forbliver et standardværktøj til teoridrevet multivariat kausal inferens.
