Exploratorisk Strukturel Ligningsmodellering

Exploratorisk Strukturel Ligningsmodellering (ESEM) er en hybridtilgang, der kombinerer eksplorativ faktoranalyse (EFA) med konfirmatorisk faktoranalyse (CFA) og stianalyse, udviklet af Asparouhov og Muthén (2009). ESEM lemper de restriktive nul-loadingsantagelser i traditionel CFA, hvilket tillader alle indikatorer at loade på alle faktorer. Dette kan afsløre krydsfaktor-kompleksitet og forbedre modeltilpasningen, samtidig med at evnen til at teste substantielle strukturelle teorier bevares.
