Bayesiansk ChIP-seq peak calling anvender probabilistiske modeller — typisk Poisson, negativ binomial eller skjulte Markov-modeller med Bayesiansk inferens — til at detektere genomiske regioner, der er berigede for et protein af interesse i kromatin-immunpræcipitation efterfulgt af sekventerings-eksperimenter. Ved eksplicit at modellere read-count støj og inkorporere prior-fordelinger, giver Bayesianske callers posterior-sandsynligheder for berigelse snarere end simple p-værdier, hvilket giver et principielt rammeværk for kvantificering af usikkerhed på tværs af genomet.
