软系统方法论 (SSM) 是一种解释性的、行动研究的方法，用于构建和管理复杂、定义不清（“软”）的问题情境，这些情境涉及人类活动。SSM 由彼得·切克兰德 (Peter Checkland) 在 1970 年代于兰开斯特大学开发，并于 1981 年正式提出。SSM 通过迭代式的探究循环指导实践者，通过结构化学习而非优化来从非结构化的问题情境转向有目的的行动。
