聚类随机多臂试验将完整的群体(例如学校、诊所或村庄)而非个体分配给三个或更多同时进行的实验条件。随机化发生在聚类层面,以防止各臂之间的污染,而多臂结构允许同时评估几种干预措施与共同对照组或其他干预措施的比较,从而提高效率,优于一系列双臂研究。
