ดัชนี Dunn ซึ่ง Joseph C. Dunn ได้นำเสนอในปี 1974 เป็นตัวชี้วัดที่จับคุณภาพของการจัดกลุ่มโดยการวัดอัตราส่วนของระยะห่างระหว่างกลุ่มที่น้อยที่สุดต่อเส้นผ่านศูนย์กลางภายในกลุ่มที่มากที่สุด ค่าที่สูงขึ้นบ่งชี้ถึงกลุ่มที่มีการแยกออกจากกันได้ดีและมีความหนาแน่นสูง ซึ่งมีคุณภาพการจัดกลุ่มที่ดีกว่า
