Spatial Synthetic Control Method
Metoden Spatial Synthetic Control anpassar det klassiska ramverket för syntetisk kontroll till situationer där behandlade och donatorenheter definieras av geografisk plats. Genom att konstruera en viktad kombination av geografiskt närliggande eller jämförbara kontrollregioner, estimerar metoden vad som skulle ha hänt med ett behandlat område utan interventionen, samtidigt som den explicit tar hänsyn till geografiska spridningseffekter, spatial autokorrelation och kontinuitet mellan enheter.
