Stohastička optimizacija rojem čestica (Stochastic PSO) je metaheuristika inteligencije roja koja proširuje standardni PSO okvir inkorporiranjem eksplicitnih stohastičkih elemenata — nasumičnih inercijalnih težina, probabilističkih resetovanja brzine ili injekcija šuma — kako bi se izbegli lokalni optimumi i održala raznolikost populacije tokom pretraživanja. Široko se primenjuje na kontinuirane, mešovite i bučne optimizacione probleme u inženjerstvu, operacionim istraživanjima i dizajnu zasnovanom na simulacijama.
