Stohastički genetički algoritam — slučajno evolutivno pretraživanje za optimizaciju

Stohastički genetički algoritam (SGA) je metaheuristika zasnovana na populaciji koja oponaša biološku evoluciju — selekciju, ukrštanje i mutaciju — radi pronalaženja blizu-optimalnih rešenja u složenim, nelinearnim ili kombinatornim prostorima. Njegovi slučajni operatori ga čine otpornim na lokalne optimale i široko primenljivim u inženjerstvu, planiranju, mašinskom učenju i operacionim istraživanjima.
