Harmony Search — Metaheuristika optimizacija inspirisana muzikom

Harmony Search (HS) je metaheuristički optimizacioni algoritam zasnovan na populaciji, koji su uveli Geem, Kim i Loganathan 2001. godine. On oponaša proces improvizacije džez muzičara koji teže savršenom stanju harmonije, koristeći tri operatora — razmatranje memorije, podešavanje visine tona i slučajni odabir — za generisanje kandidatskih rešenja. Algoritam se primenjuje na neprekidne i diskretne promenljive i našao je široku primenu u inženjerskom projektovanju, optimizaciji mreža za distribuciju vode i kombinatornim problemima.
