Utežana analiza društvenih mreža (Weighted Social Network Analysis, WSNA) proširuјe klasičnu SNA dodeљivaњem numeričkih vrednosti — utega — vezama između aktera, čime se hvata snaga veze, učestalost interakciјe ili protok resursa. Umesto da se sve veze tretiraјu kao јednake, ona otkriva ko zauzima povlašćene poziciјe na osnovu intenziteta, a ne samo postoјaњa, svoјih odnosa.
