Poweranalyse
Poweranalyse is een plannings- en evaluatietechniek die de waarschijnlijkheid kwantificeert om een reëel effect van een bepaalde omvang te detecteren bij een gekozen significantieniveau. Het koppelt vier grootheden — steekproefgrootte, effectgrootte, significantieniveau (alpha) en statistische power (1 min beta) — zodat onderzoekers de benodigde steekproefgrootte kunnen bepalen vóór de gegevensverzameling of de gevoeligheid van een voltooide studie kunnen evalueren.
